Around My Town – Part 4: The Jacksonville Landing

The Jacksonville Landing (aka – The Landing) has been a cornerstone of the North Bank Riverwalk for 29 years. Right off of I-95 in downtown Jacksonville, many people enjoy free concerts, dining out and shopping here.

I took this shot right around sunset from The Main Street Bridge, combining 3 different exposures to create this HDR shot. I’ve really been enjoying playing around with HDR, and though I haven’t gone as dramatic as many other HDR photos that I’ve seen on the Internet, I really like the effect that it provides.

Next up, my first panoramic shot with my DSLR.
