After hours of trying to figure out what to shoot that represents “flash” I decided to instead use my flash.
This is a photo of the ceiling fan in our living room, set to high, and shot, in the dark, with the flash set on my camera, to try to stop the movement of the fan blades. I like how the blades look almost translucent, yet you can still see movement. In hind-sight, I probably should have used a tripod and remote.
My apologies as this also shows that I need to get up there and clean the dust off of the ceiling. This is why I hate popcorn ceilings! YUCK!
