This is Sassy, a rescue who we adopted when we lived in San Diego. She was found in Tijuana, Mexico running from a construction site where the workers were throwing rocks at her. This explains why she is so untrusting of people, especially men. I am definitely her alpha, when I am home, she doesn’t let me get too far out of her sight. It’s sweet and a little disturbing at the same time. Perhaps I’ve been exposed to too many Stephen King novels?? Clearly, she doesn’t like having her photo taken.
