“Peace” is the theme for today’s Project 365 photo. There are a couple of obvious way I could have gone with this, I chose to photograph the place where I feel the most peaceful; the beach.
Mickler’s Landing is a public beach in Ponte Vedra, Florida and about 30 minutes away from where I live. My youngest daughter and I headed out there this afternoon after she got home from school to take some photos and scour for shark’s teeth (it’s a very popular spot to find them in the summer). Unfortunately, we found no shark’s teeth today — I guess Florida winters are only mild to snowbirds, not sharks.
We did find two starfish though, a first for me. We returned both of them to the ocean, though we aren’t sure the first one was still alive, we didn’t want to take any chances just in case.
Below is my “Peace” shot for my 365 project, along with a few other photos of the one place on earth where I feel the most peaceful.
Enjoy, and see you tomorrow.
