I know it’s been a while since I’ve posted here, things have been busy with the new house and new job.
I still don’t have the house exactly how I want it, but I am about 90% there. I still have items in my garage that I need to unpack and find a home for. I still have to get my office/craft space organized and I still have to figure out where I am going to put the framed art, but it’s very liveable and I am so very happy to be in my own home.
I am also starting to settle into the new job as well. It’s been four months now and it’s not exactly what I was hoping it would be, but it’s definitely much less stressful than my last position, and I am learning new things, while using many of the tools that I acquired in my former job. I don’t think that I will be there for a long period of time, but hey I said that with my last job too, and I stayed there for five and a half years, so who knows.
I’ve actually been thinking a lot lately of branching out on my own somehow. I have a few ideas, sadly none of them at this point are original, and, after some research, the one I was most excited for already has a few folks providing that service, so I have to re-think and re-adjust to see if it’s going to work. Sometimes I feel as if I am always the last one to the party, always one step behind. Hopefully something original will come to me soon, only time will tell.
